Mit DMIX startet das Deutsche Mode-Institut die für Abonnenten der DMI Farbkarten zunächst kostenfreie Beta-Version seiner digitalen Farbdatenbank. Alle Farbinformationen des DMI werden sukzessive in einer online zugänglichen Farbdatenbank digital abgebildet und durch zusätzliche Informationen ergänzt und aktualisiert. Nach erfolgter Registrierung stehen folgende Funktionen zur Verfügung:

  • Erweiterte Informationen zu den jeweiligen Farbkarten
  • Digitales Urmuster zu jeder Farbe als multispektrale Messdaten (caddon - .aix-Datei)
  • Nachvollziehbare spektrale Ausleitung einer Volltonfarbe/Spot-Colour (.qtx-Datei zum Download)
  • Koppermann Tex – Design kompatible CXF Datei zum Download
  • Abbildung des digitalen Urmusters als geräteunabhängige L*a*b -.TIF-Datei (zum Download)
  • Abbildung des digitalen Urmusters im Adobe® RGB-Farbraum (.jpg-Datei zum Download)
  • Bestellmöglichkeit größerer Farbmuster bzw. Meterware

Ziel ist eine exakte digitale Kommunikation über Farbe durch ein in der Anzahl der möglichen
Farbtöne unbeschränktes Farbsystem. Ausgehend vom Designprozess wird DMIX relevante Daten
in die textile Kette hinein liefern und weit reichende Möglichkeiten bieten.

 

With DMIX,  the German Fashion Institute (DMI) is launching the Beta version of its digital colour database initially free of charge for subscribers of the DMI Color Cards. All the DMI’s colour information will gradually be digitally presented in a colour database which is accessible online and extended and updated with additional information. After successful registration the following features are available:

  • Extended information on the respective colour cards
  • Digital master samples of every colour as multi-spectral readings (caddon - .aix file)
  • Comprehensible spectral derivation of a spot colour (.qtx file as download)
  • Koppermann Tex – Design compatibel CXF File as download
  • Illustration of the digital master sample as a device-independent LAB-.TIF file (download)
  • Illustration of the digital master sample in the Adobe ® RGB colour space (.jpg file as download)
  • Possibility to order larger colour samples or piece goods

The objective is to offer a relevant digital communication about colour in a numerically unlimited colour system. Starting out from the design process, DMIX will provide relevant data in the textile chain and offer far-reaching possibilities.
