The colour trends for all segments

The colour cards of the Deutsche Mode-Institut - DMI (German Fashion Institute) are regarded as the leading source of information for colour and range design. They contain reliably researched colour trend themes with detailed explanations and thus serve as important decision-making  aids in various segments.

The three DMI Colour cards (MOODS, +WOMAN and+MAN) provide colour information which is relevant and inter-related at an early stage:

• MOODS focuses on the areas of design and lifestyle (interior, product, fashion as well as the cosmetics sector).
• DMI COLOUR MOODS is published twice a year, 18 months prior to the respective season January/July)

• +WOMAN and +MAN present the ladies and men's fashion colour trends developed in detail for the coming seasons

• DMI COLOUR +WOMAN is published twiceayear,16monthsprior to the respectiveseason (April/November)
   
• DMI COLOUR +MAN is published (twicea year,17monthsprior to therespectiveseason (March/September)
  
  

The colour cards are published on 8 pages; the cards contain trend colours dyed on fabrics and are equipped with an additional colour sample bag.

The colour charts are available as single cards and on subscription.

As a DMI colour card subscriber you will be given access to the cost-free Beta version of the digital colour database DMIx, which the German Fashion Institute is starting. All colour information on the DMI colour cards will gradually be shown and completed and updated by additional information digitally in a colour database accesible online. Following completing your registration, the following functions are available:

• Extended information about the respective colour cards
• Digital prototypes of each colour as multi-spectral readings (caddon - .aix file)
• Comprehensible spectral derivation of a full-shade colour/spot colour (.qtx file for downloading)
• Koppermann Tex – Design-compatible CXF file for downloading
• Illustration of the digital reference sample as a device-independent L*a*b-.TIF file (for downloading)
• Illustration of the digital reference samples in the Adobe ® RGB colour model (.jpg file for  downloading)
• Possibility of ordering larger colour samples or goods by the yard

The subscription covers the MOODS, MAN and WOMAN cards for 2 seasons. You will receive 6 cards annually. The subscription is valid for a year and will be automatically extended for a further year, if it is not cancelled 6 weeks prior to expiry.

Cancellation rights
You can cancel your contract declaration within 14 days without providing details of reasons in text form (e.g. letter, fax, e-mail) or - if the goods are delivered to you prior to expiration - by returning the goods. The period starts upon receipt of these instruction in text form, however not prior to receipt of the goods by the recipient (in the case of repeated deliveries of similar goods not prior to the first partial delivery) and also not before fulfilment of our obligations to disclose information in accordance with Article 246 § 2 in connection with § 1 Par. 1 and 2 EGBGB (Introductory Act to the German Civil Code). For observation of the cancellation period, the punctual despatch of the notice of cancellation or the goods is sufficient. The cancellation should be addressed to

Cancellation consequences
In the event of an effective cancellation, the performances received on both sides and, if necessary, benefits drawn (e.g. interest), are to be returned. If you are unable to completely or only partly return the goods, or only to return them in deteriorated condition, you must in this respect, where applicable, you must compensate us for loss of value. This does not apply to the return of goods if the deterioration of the goods can be explained exlusively by their examination - as would have been possible for you, for example, in a retail outlet. Otherwise, you can avoid the obligation to make equivalent compensation for a deterioration arising through use in accordance with the intended purpose, in that you do not make use of the goods as your property and refrain from doing anything which might impair their value. Goods which can be packaged should be returned to us at our risk. You must bear the costs of return shipment, if the delivered goods correspond with those ordered and if the price of the goods to be returned do not exceed an amount of 40 Euros or if, in the case of a higher price of the goods at the time of cancellation, you have not made full payment or a contractually-agreed part-payment. Otherwise the return is free of charge for you. Goods which cannot be packaged will be collected from you. Obligations to make a refund of payments must be met within 30 days. The period starts with the despatch of your cancellation declaration or the goods, for us with their receipt.Your right to cancel expires prematurely if the contract is fulfilled completely by both parties at your express request, before you have exercised your right to cancellation.
